Situated in the heart of England, Northamptonshire and its surrounding areas provide a diverse range of flexible offerings in terms of the UK’s hospitality and leisure industries. Unfortunately, due to the ever decreasing availability of public sector funding, many of the worthwhile initiatives in this sector, such as those previously driven by Northamptonshire County Council and Northamptonshire Enterprise Partnership, have now been significantly curtailed or ended.

Whilst there are some excellent local initiatives taking place much of the approach is fragmented and there remains a hiatus in terms of a broader strategic plan.

CJS Event Solutions, together with Welcome Systems and Explore Communications, are hosting this event to provide those operating within this sector an opportunity to share ideas and innovative thinking. We are particularly keen to discuss what, if any type of forum, would be appropriate in assisting to drive this important aspect of our local economy in a way that will bring additional visitors to the area. This will, in turn bring greater commercial benefit to all our businesses.
